Acorn & Whitehall Toilets Receive WaterSense Certification
Acorn Engineering Company® and Whitehall Manufacturing® are proud to announce that as of December 2018, all Acorn siphon jet and blowout jet toilets, as well as Whitehall’s BestCare WH2142 series toilets have been independently tested and certified to meet WaterSense standards! With the WaterSense label, these toilets are certified to use at least 20 percent less water, ultimately saving precious resources for future generations.
WaterSense recent advancements have allowed toilets to use 1.28 gallons per flush or less while still providing equal or superior performance. The WaterSense label is used on toilets that are independently certified to meet rigorous criteria for both performance and efficiency. Only water-saving toilets that complete the certification process can earn the WaterSense label.
This new certification comes in addition to certification per all appropriate nationally recognized standards, as laid out by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). WaterSense is a voluntary partnership program sponsored by the EPA.
